"Two strangers walk down the street, one seems to be in a strangely optimistic mood, the other, in a mild depression. As the two people walk by each other their eyes meet. The optimistic one gives a joyous smile that could light up a room, like a miniature sun. This smile seems to be almost contagious. By the time the two had past each other they both were smiling. These people have never met before, but both leave feeling like they have met a new friend."
"This kind of thing happens every day. Just one smile can turn someone's day around. The truth is smiles are contagious. It does not matter what mood your are in, you can still catch a smile."
"In kindergarten my teacher read to my class a book that told a story about how smiles were contagious. Since then I have pledged to myself to try and make as many people smile as I can. I took upon myself at a young age to smile at one stranger every day. This stranger was not to be just any stranger, but one who looked down on their luck and was not having a good day. You may or may not agree, but, I think doing this everyday slowly makes this world a better place."
"One smile is all it takes. I believe smiles can change the world one person at a time."
